Need Prayer
Charles Sheffield has been diagnosed with lung cancer that was discovered after several tests. It started with a cough. It has metastasized into his bones and into his lower back
( Stage 4). They found a tumor in his lower back that is causing a lot of pain in his legs and feet. They will treat this first with radiation to try to relieve the pain. Then he will start aggressive treatments of chemo and radiation. He will go home (to their new house in Atlanta) in the next day or two and travel to a nearby hospital to start the treatments. He has confidence in his doctors and his attitude is good. He is going to need our prayers in the coming days, weeks and months. Please add Charles to your prayer list daily.
