Well, we are on again for doing our best to see each other and celebrate our 60th high school reunion. We actually met in 2019 to plan a reunion for our 60th in 2020. As you all know 2020 didn't go as previously planned. As a result all was put on hold.

Several of us got together to do our best to select a date to celebrate that which we had planned a couple of years back.

June 18, 2022 is a Saturday and our hope is that you will get back in touch with us so we can get a close head count as to how many might be able to come.

Hopefully we will be able to tour the new high school and maybe get together early on Saturday for some type of breakfast or brunch. Later that night on the 18th of June we will meet for a meal at Hoppergrass for a buffet. Please let us know if you might be able to come. Depending on the circumstances our Treasury may be able to pay for each of our meals. Of course we won't know that until we know how many to plan for.

Please let us hear from you by May 25, 2022. No matter what your answer may be, please contact us. We actually want to know what you have been up to and everything.

The date we have set up for your return contact will help us a great deal in setting up our plans for the best reunion we can.

We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully see you in June.

Information received from Edward Peters on 9-11-21

I got this note ( in red) from Edward this morning and wanted to add it to our blog so that you would be aware and handle that information however you like. I am afraid that the only contact information I have for him is:

edward.peters1942@gmail.com

Edward, We are so sorry to hear about your wife and please know that you are in our prayers.

I received the class information. Thanks a lot.

I don’t think you know that my wife of 51 years passed away on January 31, 2019.

She had fought a long {6+ years} battle with ovarian cancer which included trips to UAB for surgery and doctor visits and many, many trips to the

Oncology group in Dothan for chemo therapy. They tried every chemo treatment available for ovarian cancer and nothing worked.

She passed away peacefully 1 week after the doctor put her on Hospice.

Thanks for keeping me in the loop and I hope we can meet whenever we have another reunion.
