Glenda Miller Tucker had a stroke June 20. She has been to rehab and has her
speech cleared up some what and some use of her right hand, not so good with
the right leg, but I try to walk her every day usually about 80 feet.

Most of our posts are prayer request for needs in our lives or 

the lives of our friends or families;  or news of another classmate leaving our ranks.   However, Ann Norris Adams and Billy (Bull) Knowles have some exciting good news to share with you today. They are happy to announce that on Friday, November 23, 2018, at the home of Ann's daughter in Birmingham, Billy and Ann will be married.  They look forward to being an active part of the CHS 1960 Class Alumini Family as we all look forward to yet another  reunion.

News concerning Linda Richardson Scott

Mr. Jerry Scott, Linda Richardson Scott's husband, passed away Sunday night, September 2, 2018.
Visitation will be at Ward Wilson on Friday the 14th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, the 15th at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity on Holly Lane in Dothan with a military burial at Dothan City Cemetery.

Alice E. McLaughlin Knowles

wife of Billy Knowles died, Wednesday, April 4, 2018. A memorial service will be held at a later time. As most of you already know Billy has been a devoted husband and care giver for many years to Alice. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time.

Hello Mrs. Adams,

It is with sadness that I inform you of my mother, Carolyn Smith McComb.   She passed away on 10/4/2017 in Columbia, SC due to Heart Failure.  She was a member of CHS class of 1960.  I got your contact info from her CHS c/o 1960 Directory.

She will have a memorial service at Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church in Garden City SC on 10/21/2017 time to be determined (probably 3 pm) with a reception following at 5 pm at Hawg Heaven BBQ in Pawleys Island SC.
